Dear friends of Ukraine,
Our member Quantum Systems is launching the production of Ukrainian drones in Germany this February in collaboration with the Ukrainian drone manufacturer Frontline Robotics. The drones to be manufactured include the logistics drone "Linsa" for material transport, the reconnaissance drone "Zoom," and the "Buria" drone, armed with a machine gun and grenade launcher. This step marks the implementation in Germany of the internationalisation of the Ukrainian defence industry, which was announced last year.
But it is not only Ukrainian defence companies that are active internationally. The NASDAQ-listed company Kyivstar is continuing its shopping spree for digital service providers and has acquired the Ukrainian company Tabletki. Anyone who enters a medication on Tabletki.ua can check its availability and price in pharmacies and reserve it for collection. Tabletki is an example of an innovative Ukrainian company that is ensuring more efficient supply in the healthcare sector.
However, innovation alone is not enough for Ukraine's economic growth – private investment remains crucial. That is why we have worked with the German Economic Team to draft a position paper in which we analyse progress on reforms and measures to improve the investment climate. We discussed our proposals with representatives of the National Bank of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy and members of parliament. The dialogue shows that Ukraine is seeking exchange with businesses and is open to constructive suggestions.
