16 ‒ 20 March 2026
Dear friends of Ukraine,
Our first Annual Members’ Forum yesterday, Thursday, was a great success. 150 participants attended the general meeting, panel discussion and networking session. The main item on the agenda of the general meeting was the board elections. The new board members are Mariia Garan (Porsche Holding), Olena Vdovychenko (Metro), Vitali Vereshagin (Caparol), Kristian Andersson (SEB), Matthias Lehna (Quantum Systems) and Bogdan Kharchuk (KNDS). This marks the first time that representatives from the defence sector will sit on the board of the AHK Ukraine.
This is in line with the focus of our work and also with the delegation we have been supporting this week during meetings in Lviv and Kyiv. The interest of German and Ukrainian companies in the sector in cooperation shows no sign of abating. We expect several important contracts and also production joint ventures in Germany this year.
One example of such cooperation is the partnership announced this week between the Ukrainian drone manufacturer Pegasus Arms and Rohde & Schwarz. The Ukrainian company hopes to gain new capabilities for its drone through its partner’s technology. We wish Pegasus and Rohde & Schwarz every success in implementing their plans.
Kind regards
P.S.: Please send feedback to nataliia.hryshchenko@ukraine.ahk.de and / or reiner.perau@ukraine.ahk.de.
