Dear friends of Ukraine,
temperatures in Ukraine have risen and most heating systems are back on. Even though the next cold snap is on its way: Ukraine has almost survived the second hardest month of the war and thus the winter of 25/26.
Meanwhile, the talks in Abu Dhabi are proceeding without any major surprises. The russians continue to successfully pretend that they are negotiating in earnest. The Americans are supporting them to the best of their ability and trying to force Ukraine to surrender or accept peace on unfavourable terms. The American government's interest seems clear: the war must end so that business with russia can flourish again.
The American president's cronies are already doing good business, including in Ukraine. As part of the raw materials agreement, a promising lithium site was awarded to a group of investors that includes a friend of Trump's. While the deal leaves a bad taste in the mouth, we can only welcome the investment in the deposit.
