15. ‒ 19. December 2025
Dear friends of Ukraine,
the 8th German-Ukrainian Economic Forum on Monday was a resounding success. Over 500 company representatives from Germany and Ukraine attended, along with the Ukrainian president and the German chancellor. Despite the difficult political negotiations in the background, there was a palpable sense of optimism. Many business partnerships are in the pipeline, so concrete results can be expected in 2026.
On Monday at the conference, Quantum Systems and Frontline Robotics made concrete plans. They announced their new joint venture to produce Ukrainian drones in Germany. The project is part of the "Build with Ukraine Initiative" and is intended to serve as a model for further collaborations of this kind. We wish Quantum Frontline Industries every success in "scaling, expanding and creating".
"Money today or blood tomorrow" summed up the mood at the summit in Brussels. Europe must secure long-term financing for Ukraine. Its member states have recognised this and made €90 billion available for the next two years. Whether frozen Russian assets will be used remains to be seen.
At AHK Ukraine, we had a record year in 2025. With 276 members now, we have grown by over 35 per cent in 2025. Accordingly, all our employees are ready for a holiday and we are taking a two-week break from Rebuild Ukraine Weekly.
We wish you a wonderful weekend and a peaceful Christmas season.
Kind regards
