We are pleased to introduce Serhii Sviatenko, who joined AHK Ukraine on 1 July 2026 as our new Defence Consultant.
In this role, Serhii will support Ukrainian companies in identifying potential partners in Germany and help strengthen German-Ukrainian cooperation in the fields of defence, security and critical infrastructure protection. He will also support our members, business delegations and a dedicated working group for companies, prepare market and policy information, and contribute to the organisation of a defence conference.
Before joining AHK Ukraine, Serhii served at the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, where he supported international delegations, prepared analytical briefings on key defence partners including Germany, and contributed to the communication with European defence institutions. Earlier in his career, he worked with the Kyiv office of KfW and with international organisations. He speaks German, English and Ukrainian.
