German-Ukrainian Business Awards 2025

Quantum Systems became German Company of the Year 2025 on 27 November during the German-Ukrainian Chamber’s award event. Quantum Systems has been on the market for around 10 years and has grown considerably since 2022, primarily supporting Ukraine's defence with its Vector reconnaissance drone. With over 1,000 Vectors in use, Quantum Systems' systems now account for 10% of the eyes on the battlefield. Since 2024, Quantum Systems has also been producing drones in Ukraine, thus becoming an investor. Around a third of Quantum Systems' employees now work for the Ukrainian branch of the company.

Ajax Systems, a security technology manufacturer, was named Ukrainian Company of the Year 2025. Founded in 2011, it has grown from a local start-up to become Europe's largest manufacturer of security technology, with over 4 million end users in more than 180 countries. Ajax Systems is highly successful in Germany and has factories in Turkey and Vietnam. Its award-winning design has contributed to Ajax Systems' success. Ajax Systems is not only difficult for burglars to bypass – thanks to its rapid growth and worldwide success, it prevailed over the other nominated companies.

The German-Ukrainian Business Awards 2025 were presented by AHK Ukraine on 27 November 2025 in Kyiv. At the awards gala, Oleksii Sobolev, Ukraine's Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, emphasised that all the nominated companies are outstanding examples of Ukraine's transition from a recipient of aid to a destination for foreign investment. The Ukrainian nominees were the agricultural holding company MHP, the steel product manufacturer Interpipe, and the packaging company Univest. The German nominees were Profine (window profiles), Knauf (plasterboard) and UIFK-Agro (agricultural business).
