Ukraine's competition law follows the EU model in many respects, but not in all of them. For investors, the differences often show up at the worst moment: during merger control, an AMCU investigation or a procurement dispute. Whether you are exploring an acquisition, planning market expansion or stress-testing your compliance posture, knowing where the two frameworks diverge is essential. Join our upcoming webinar on
“Competition & Antitrust Regulation: Merger control, AMCU procedures, unfair competition”,
held as part of the Ukraine 101: Monthly Legal Basics series, to gain insights into regulatory requirements.
Agenda:
- How the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) operates and what it means for your business
- Merger control: timelines, thresholds and process
- AMCU investigations: your rights and risks
- Public procurement: the role of Ukraine's competition watchdog
- Unfair competition rules and the practical risks that often catch foreign investors off guard
- Where Ukrainian law tracks EU standards, and where it doesn't
We are pleased to welcome as speaker Evgenia Prudko, Legal dvisor at Dentons, who will offer a practical perspective on the regulatory landscape investors need to anticipate and plan around.
The event will take place on 28 October 2026 at 11:00 (Kyiv time) / 10:00 (Berlin time) online via Zoom. The language of the event is English.
